Owner / Speech - Language Pathologist

Ja'Kecia Howard is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with an interest in speech-sound disorders. She is also the founder of Golden Lotus Therapy, LLC. Golden Lotus Therapy was established to offer personalized, high-quality support to pediatric clients and their families.

Ja'Kecia holds a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Montevallo and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also licensed by the states of Alabama and Kansas.  Ja'Kecia has experience providing services in several settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation, elementary school, and telehealth.
